If you are a Linux user or if you used at least once a Linux distribution with graphic interface, may notice that those operating systems offer the possibility to switch between working desktops. This utility can be very useful when working on several things at the same time with different software or multi-windows open. Unfortunately Windows does not offer this possibility by default.
The good news is that we can install the Desktop application.
Desktops allows you to organize your applications on up to four virtual desktops. Read email on one, browse the web on the second, and do work in your productivity software on the third, without the clutter of the windows you’re not using. After you configure hotkeys for switching desktops, you can create and switch desktops either by clicking on the tray icon to open a desktop preview and switching window, or by using the hotkeys.
