I’m using my desktop to keep some shortcuts and also to store some files that I work with or just downloaded from internet. A few days ago all of my desktop icons and files disappeared. However, when I go to Computer->Desktop the icons and files are still presented and available. I saw other users having similar problems but no proper solution for the problem.
OK. Most of the time in this situation, the solution is very simple:
1. Right Click on Desktop
2. Go to View Menu
3. Select “Show Desktop Icons”
